PDM SDGs Declaration
The SDGs aim to solve the global challenges that the member countries face, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace, and justice. It is important to achieve each of the targeted goals by 2030 with no one left behind.
PDM has been engaged in developing and creating valuable architecture and spaces that can be recycled for approximately 30 years since its founding (or more than 40 years when the 10 years of experience in real estate businesses by the predecessor company before the foundation of PDM is added). PDM has also been working on thorough compliance and diversity management from an early stage.
Since the 1960s, PDM has been working on the development of entirely Western-style apartment buildings that were not popular in Japan at that time, and the buildings PDM developed in the 1980s are still popular rental properties with high profitability that only require the facilities and exterior walls to be repaired without anything being scrapped and built. This is recognized as one of the results of the commitments of PDM to create architecture and spaces aimed to last 100 years since the Showa era.
PDM will continue to respond to a diverse society and aim to continue to grow sustainably as a dignified company, and contribute to society as real estate professionals from an international perspective.

- Engage in environmentally friendly development projects by creating valuable and rebuildable buildings and spaces.
- By preserving and renovating existing buildings, the construction waste and large amounts of waste generated by demolition work can be significantly reduced and will lead to a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions compared to the construction of new buildings.
- From the viewpoint of energy conservation, PDM promotes Cool Biz and Warm Biz and reduces power consumption, etc.

- Since the Privacy Mark Certification was acquired in 2007, we have renewed it every two years (eight times in total) and have implemented thorough security and information management throughout the company.
